The ACD's main members states are Kuwait, Pakistan, Bahrain, Sri Lanka, Turkey,Indonesia, Thailand, China and Japan, the so-called major nine ACD Nations.〔For an analysis of the history of the ACD see Michael, Arndt (2013).
